TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Reservations/Deposits:
1.1 Reservations for accommodation in Chalet Mont aux Sources will only be confirmed by Springbok Ski Club and VerbierSkiChalet.com on receipt of the required deposit of CHF 430 per person or the equivalent value (as specified).
1.2 The balance of the holiday price must be paid no later than 30 days prior to commencement date of the accommodation arrangement. In the event of one failing to make payment of the balance 30 days prior to commencement date of the accommodation arrangement, Springbok Ski Club and VerbierSkiChalet.com reserves the right to re-allocate the accommodation or cancel the reservation.
1.3 All prices are based on the Swiss Franc. Payments may be made by bank transfer, deposit or wire or by credit card.
1.4 Credit Card Payments:
All payments made by credit card will be converted from the Swiss Franc quoted price, into EURO, at the rate of exchange at the time of payment.
The floor limit per transaction is EURO 1500.00, and any charge over this will be divided into separate transactions with this as maximum per transaction.
It is essential to provide us with all necessary details in order to authorise payments, including Secure Internet Password - failing which, we will need to take the necessary steps to facilitate the procedure, and delays may occur.
Your credit card statement will reflect a EURO payment to ' Ecspay.net '.
Cancellation
2.1 All cancellations must be in writing and sent by fax to the Reservations Department, Springbok Ski Club or VerbierSkiChalet.com at ++27 88011 234 4077, plus a copy emailed to info@verbierskichalet.com .
2.2 In the event of dispute, the date the letter of cancellation is received by the Club will be deemed as the effective cancellation date.
2.3 A cancellation fee of CHF 430 per person will be charged in the event of cancellation of accommodation arrangements up to 30 days prior to commencement date. In the event of full payment having been made and cancellation received within 30 days prior to commencement, 0% of the land arrangement costs will be refunded.
Possible changes
3.1 Springbok Ski Club and VerbierSkiChalet.com reserves the right to cancel any holiday arrangement prior to clients departure in which event the deposit/balance of holiday price (if paid) will be refunded with no further obligations to the Springbok Ski Club or VerbierSkiChalet.com. In the event of Springbok Ski Club or VerbierSkiChalet.com having to curtail or modify any holiday arrangement due to circumstances beyond its control it shall not be obliged to refund the whole or any part of the holiday price.
Vouchers
4.1 Vouchers once issued are not refundable. Unused services are not refundable.
4.2 Vouchers are not transferable to any other person or party.
Late bookings and changes
5.1 Reservations received within 15 days of departure will automatically incur a fee of CHF 35 per party.
5.2 Changes to bookings once confirmed will be charged for at a fee of CHF 35 per alteration per party.
Responsibility
6.1 The Springbok Ski Club (Pty) Ltd, VerbierSkiChalet.com and travel agents act only as booking agents on the clients behalf on the express condition that they do not accept responsibility for any default, negligence or otherwise on the part of any person or organisation providing the clients with any services, sightseeing, equipment, accommodation, or transport, etc. Nor are they liable to the client for any loss or additional expenses and inconvenience occasioned by delay, cancellation of schedule, sickness, or adding to the cost of the service facilities, or accommodation requested or booked. All such expenses will be borne by the client.
6.2 All ski equipment, toboggans, ice-skates, snow boards, ski bobs etc., are the clients’ responsibility and ski equipment must be returned to the supplier the day before departure from the resort. Springbok Ski Club reserves the right to recover any losses incurred due to damage or failure to return equipment by the due date.
General
7.1 Springbok Ski Club and VerbierSkiChalet.com strongly recommends that the client takes out insurance to cover medical, cancellation, curtailment and delay, baggage loss and personal accident. CLICK HERE: Travel Insurance
